The Student Council is an intermediary between the staff and the students of the school.

The council exists to reinforce the rules and regulations of the institution. 

The council is comprised of sixteen-members.

These members hold their position for one academic year.

At the start of the next school year, a new Student Council will be elected.

The members are selected in democratic fashion; that is, each member of the student body is given an opportunity to vote for the person who will best represent them.

During election, there are usually two opposing parties.
