SOCIAL SCIENCES
Social Sciences Department
​At the Social Sciences Department we offer various subjects including Civics, Religious Education, History, Geography, Health and Family Life Education and Social Studies. Each of these subjects is offered at various levels from Grade 7 through 9. The objective here is to help prepare students for the Social Studies examination when they enter senior school. Our teachers in the Junior School work collaboratively to meet the needs of our students, while accomplishing the goals of this department.
VI History:
-
At the Grade 7 level, History is mostly focused on Virgin Islands history, while at the Grade 9 level the focus is on Caribbean history.
